How To Get Rid of Ringworm & Home Remedies

Below are some tested (and not so tested) home remedies for ringworm. For the "brave" at heart!

Try bleach on the infection. It will burn like - However, it is said to be affective.

Ringworm treatment using Papaya: The slices of this fruit should be rubbed on the ringworm area(s). A paste adhesive made from dried papaya seeds can also be applied usefully on these ringworm area(s)

Ringworm treatment using Cassia Leaves: The leaves of the cassia tree are useful in alleviating swellings and pains. The juice of these leaves can be applied to ringworm area(s) with gratifying results

Ringworm treatment using Raw Vegetable Juices: Raw vegetable juices (especially carrot juice in permutation with spinach juice), have proved useful in the treatment of ringworm. The formula proportions considered helpful in this combination are 300 ml of carrot juice and 200 ml of spinach juice to make 500 ml or half a liter of juice

Apply coconut oil, sunbathing and mud pack: Coconut oil may be applied to the parts with ringworm spots. It will help the skin to stay soft. Sunbathing is also beneficial and should be resorted to early in the morning, at the first light of dawn. A light mud pack applied over the areas of the ringworm is also helpful. The pack should be applied for half an hour, twice daily

Newspaper Remedy: Burn newspapers in a plate. Blow ashes away. Rub yellow residue on infected areas!

Rub alcohol and hydrogen peroxide on areas works somewhat.

Rub apple cider vinegar over affected areas.

Ringworm treatment using Mustard Seeds: A paste should be prepared from these seeds and used externally over the ringworm area(s) after thoroughly washing the skin liberally with hot water

Ringworm treatment using Turmeric: Turmeric is said to be very effective in the treatment of ringworm. The juice of raw turmeric is applied externally to the skin affected by ringworm. Concurrently, one teaspoon of turmeric juice mixed with an equal quantity of honey should be taken orally

Warm-water enema, fresh air, drink plenty of water: A warm-water enema may be administered to cleanse the bowels during an all-fruit diet. Drink plenty of water and bathe twice daily.

Ringworm treatment using Holy Basil: The leaves of holy basil are also helpful in ringworm. Apply the juices over ringworm area(s)

Ringworm treatment using Butea Seeds: The seeds of the herb butea are useful in treating ringworm. Grind seeds to a paste and stir with a little lime juice. This mixture should be applied externally over the skin affected by ringworm

Tea tree oil shampoo: Bath regularly with shampoo till infection is over.
