Kukuk's Nest was established in 1989 by Raimund Houscht and Maria Victoria "Bambi" Beltran. After more than 20 years, it has become a haven for local and foreign tourists, and fun-loving people with creative souls.
Kukuk's Nest Restaurant and Pension House at Gorordo Avenue, Lahug, Cebu City is a bustling 24-hour open restaurant, bar and pension house. It is also home to Turtle's Nest Book Cafe and Gamayng Galeri where local artists regularly hold exhibits, hang out to talk, drink and eat.
Kukuk's Nest (North) Bed, Breakfast and Restaurant at Talamban Road is a tranquil place in the Cebu metropolis that is also home to art exhibits, residency programs, performance arts, and creative workshops. It also has a garden restaurant and a mini bar. Diwata Galeri is also located here where artists from all over the Philippines regularly hold exhibits.
Kukuk's Nest Bed, Breakfast and Restaurant
Direct your cab driver to Talamban Road, Nasipit. Landmarks are University of San Carlos- Talamban and Cebu Family Park. Kukuk's Nest is about 100 meters from the entrance to Cebu Family Park. We are right beside the Nasipit Commercial Plaza, on the same side of the street.
From the airport, you can take the Cabancalan Road to Talamban Road. Kukuk's Nest is before Family Park (right side of the road). Taxi fare is around Php150.00
Kukuk's Nest Garden Restaurant and Pension House
Direct your cab driver to Turtle's Nest at Gorordo Avenue, Lahug. Landmarks are Golden Peak and PNB- Lahug. We are located at the Turtle's Nest right across Tonros Apartelle.

About Kukuk's Nest
A Bit of History
Kukuk's Nest is a guest house located in uptown Cebu City. We also have a 24-hour restaurant and bar that caters to foreign and local tourists. Our menu is an East and West mixture containing Filipino, German, Thai, Indonesian, French and other specialities.Kukuk's Nest was established in 1989 and has continued to serve its clientele over the years. It is a place where one meets other travelers and learns about the country from those who have been coming here regularly. Tips of where to go and what to do are given to anyone who asks. Just look for Maria.
In addition, the Kukuk's Nest is also home to Turtle's Nest Book Cafe and Gallery, a place where local artists and writers meet regularly. Souvenir items like local paintings are available to enjoy and to take home to your friends and family left at home.
The Kukuk's Nest kitchen and bar never goes to sleep and will cater to your needs anytime! It is truly the backpacker's hangout in Cebu City, Philippines.

Cebu is an island of the Philippines. It is the main island of Cebu Province and is located at the center of the group of Visayan Islands. It is located 365 miles (587 km) south of Manila. For tourists, the island of Cebu and nearby smaller islands have a lot of attractions to offer. We have plenty of sun, sea and beach. The city has traces from our Spanish and religious past.Tourists normally fly directly to Cebu's airport and from here they spread out by boat to the many islands in the Visayas or they stay on Cebu island.
