Organic Leek Seeds
Leeks are a part of the onion family, but they are generally milder in taste. Leeks do not keep very long in storage, so many times it is best to keep them into the ground until you are ready to use them. They need to be planted about 6 inches apart, but some guides show that they can be planted closer than that. You need to plant them deep when you transplant them and leave the hole open. Pour water into the hole, letting the water pull the soil down, do not pat it down.

- I love leeks! At the end of March I will be planting more, they grow in the cold months and I'm already planning what I cook with them :-)

- I have cooked with leeks before because they are so much milder than regular onions. I don't have a garden, but if I did, I would grow some leeks!
