How to have the best wedding photography in Fresno - By Composure Photography & Video

This lovely bride showed me a cell phone image of a picture in a magazine she had seen the night before and said "Dawn, I just have to have this" . Well, our shot list went out the window and I didn't care what happened that day, I was getting that image. So, we headed off in a golf cart, found the tree, ran before the light left us and captured the image that she "had to have".

I take pride in my work, I like being a professional wedding photographer, but I really like seeing people happy more than that. So, if I've taken my vision over my clients in any situation, I haven't given them the best photography possible. Now, having said that, I will say I "guide gently" towards certain areas that will be better visually than others, but I will never discount an idea, because EVERY image starts off as an idea.

We've found that in the 10 years we've been helping create images that to have the best photography in Fresno, sometimes it means watching very carefully for the 5 minutes available to the bride & groom and a break in the action. This Bride & Groom were between dinner and the cake and we said lets step outside and "see what happens". In reality, I had already scouted it out and knew what I wanted to do. They saw the same light I did and naturally put themselves in it. I then kicked into high gear creating the anxiety this Bride wanted in a "sensual" image she could put in her bedroom. This image was one of her favorites and mine as well. When we were done, they walked back into their reception and no one even knew we had been gone (SO, we should have went back out. LOL)
