    I think your lens is only appropriate to a US audience as there are pretty strict laws in Europe about children working..laws about working hours, what age they must be and so on..

    Thanks for the comment. This lens was intended for US taxpayers only. I forget how global our world is and that non-US citizens might be reading this lens.

    My "child" is an adult -- 39 years old. Are there tax laws that make her working for me any different than hiring a non-related adult?

    what if your business in an S corp & your child makes under $5700 / year, does your child pay Fed SS Medicare or FUTA?
