Today in society it is generally accepted that the man is the one that pursues the girl. He's the one that's supposed to approach the girl and chase the girl, especially younger girls. Girls are taught to be passive and non aggressive. So what does a girl do when she actually finds a man attractive? Well she has to put out the signals on a much more subtle level than a man would. Granted there are women out there who don't play by the rules of society and are very blunt and up front with their intentions, but many girls are actually shy and can be intimidated by men, even the most beautiful women.

What Types of Signals do Women Put Out?

There are so many different things a woman can do to let a man know she's interested. Every situation is different and it will be impossible to go over every type of signal in one article, but let's talk about a few of the basics. Sometimes the best way to flirt with a girl is to let her initiate it. However, you can do some subtle to provoke the situation, such as making a brazen comment about her in a joking manner. She might laugh, or she might hit you playfully. That is a good thing. Playful touching or hitting is one of the most basic things that women will do to flirt with a guy. Other things she may do are play with her hair, look deep into your eyes, bite her lip, act shy, and act more "girly" to name a few.

Advice for Inexperienced Guys

If you don't have much experience with women then knowing how to impress a girl you like, or knowing if she's flirting with you will take time to learn. It's one of those things that you get better with experience, and simply being aware. One thing guys can start doing as in the example I gave above, is to simply assume she likes you. You don't have to know how to flirt with a girl or anything like that, just assume attraction, and go with the flow of the interaction. There's nothing wrong with showing attraction back to a girl. If she's obviously flirting with you or casually touching you then go ahead and do it back to her. If she's not interested in you, trust me, she will let you know.

Yet, to many it's a lost art, as certain segments of society become more impersonal and introverted. Get out there, start meeting girls, and most important of all pay attention to their actions, and then just simply have fun.
