How to Improve Your English Skills Faster With Free Podcasts
English is not my first language, and sometimes I find it's quite hard to improve English speaking skills if you are not reside in one of English speaking countries. But with today's technology and thanks to internet, we can improve our English skills faster ,and one thing for sure most of resources on the internet are free. Yes, free.
To begin with, I would like to share you my story, I am addicted to English language, because for me English is one of the beautiful languages in the world. To be specific, I am keen of learning British than American English. I have many English course books and workbooks which I use to strengthen my grammar and vocabulary.
However, my English is not improving quickly until I found podcast. If you don't know podcast, it's audio or video file that you can subscribe freely by using application like iTunes. Here in this lens, I would like to share with you not only podcasts which can help you to improve your English speaking skills, but also quick tips on how to use it effectively. It's fun and more interesting than study by using textbooks.

How to Find and Download Podcasts?
This is an easy job, first download iTunes on your computer, or if you have iPad then it's more easily to download any podcasts. After downloading iTunes player, go to the iTunes store and click on podcasts menu. On podcasts quick link menu, click on language learning podcasts and choose learning English. There you can find a lot of interesting podcasts that you can subscribe to.
Quick Tips Using Podcasts to Improve Your English Speaking Skills
Now you have downloaded your choice of podcasts, and next step is try to find the easiest one you can follow and interesting. My point here is you can increasing your English skill faster if you choose material that is enjoyable for you. Try to listen two times at the beginning to grasp the whole idea. If you can't understand the content, you can read the podcast script (if available).
Next step is try "mimicking" the speaker so you can practice on how to speak English naturally like the native speakers do. Maybe it's not easy on the beginning, but after several time you will find that you can follow the rhythm. Please don't burnt out yourself by choosing something difficult because you will end up yourself frustrated and you feel unwilling to move on to the next level.
Stick on one podcast at a time, and repeat this podcast several times a week and if you think you have done and mastered the podcast, then you can move to another podcast.

Maybe you can find some are easy like Cbeebies podcasts that are served for children, but remember we are here to learn English, so don't be shame if you choose this channel.
