How to Improve Search Engine Rankings For Your Website
Ranked #9,126 in SEO, #246,715 overall | Donates to Save the Children
Does your website need a better search engine ranking? Last month, I had the pleasure of being a beta tester for Jon Leger's new membership site - 3WayLinks. This is a new, well thought out system designed to increase your link popularity which will then improve search engine rankings for your website.
I'll admit that when I joined I was bit skeptical. Up to that point, the site I used for the system had rested pitifully on page 9 of Google (for my main keyword) after having been launched six months prior. I had done some elementary keyword research and on-page optimization in December of last year, but nothing much since then. What I had done, however, was market it in all the usual ways - blogging, articles, forums, email, traffic exchanges, social bookmarking, etc.. The niche this site targeted was highly competitive, so I just hoped that in time I would gain a better search engine ranking.
I was shocked at what happened 3 weeks later.
My site hit #1 for my primary keyword! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it. I didn't even realize it was possible to see such a drastically improved search engine ranking that quickly! And what came as even more of a surprise (if that's possible) was that since my primary keyword was a "long tail keyword" my search engine rankings jumped dramatically for a much more competitive portion of that word. I couldn't believe I had achieved a better search engine ranking for a keyword I hadn't even deliberately tried for. It was quite honestly the fastest, easiest, and BEST thing I have ever done for my web site!
You see, when you become a 3WayLinks member your site automatically starts to gain high-quality, one-way backlinks from other sites in the network (up to 250 max per domain). Since all of the major search engines rank sites primarily on their link popularity, as the incoming network links go live your site will achieve an improved search engine ranking.
Here are some important details:
- The links aren't reciprocal - they're three-way. The 3-way pattern is seen by the search engines as a one-way link from A to B, a one-way from B to C, and a one way from C to A.
- The link text (or "anchor text") is varied. You supply your top three keywords to use for the text of the links pointing to your site. The link texts are then given 60%, 30% and 10% exposure.
- Links are spread slowly. All 250 links do not appear at once, instead they are sprinkled in at the rate of about 4 links per day to avoid any problems with the search engines.
- Link pages are all unique. Not only do you add your website's header and footer code to make your 3WayLinks page look exactly like your site, but the templates are generated randomly using an algorithm that can generate over a million link page formats.
- Links come from a large variety of IP addresses. Since the sites in the network are independently owned by a large number of webmasters, they have a "natural" IP linking pattern.
- Nothing links back to 3WayLinks. There are no "footprints", links, text, or anything else to point back to the 3Waylinks site.
- The network is full of quality links. All sites in the network have been indexed and more than 60% have some PageRank value.
- All links are verified daily. The network site links are tested daily to ensure that they remain live. If a site fails the test more than 3 days in a row, the site is pulled from the network and disabled until the problem is corrected.
- Sites never link to each other. If you have multiple sites in the network, your sites will never link to each other.
Finally, this system could not be more well thought out and easy to utilize. It literally takes a maximum of 10 minutes to set up a site. You simply drop a PHP file on your domain and link to it from your homepage - that's it - 3WayLinks does the rest!

The Low-Down on Search Engines
Only the top 3 search engines really matter...
Number of searches per day: Over 89 million
Market share: 43.7% of all searches are done on Google
YAHOO - 2ND IN LINE
Number of searches per day: Over 58 million
Market share: 28.8% of all searches performed
WINDOWS LIVE SEARCH - Formerly MSN
Number of searches per day: Over 27 million
Market share: 12.8% of all searches performed
Although there are hundreds of search engines, Google, Yahoo, or MSN either own them or they power their search engine results. The other smaller privately owned search engines (like Kanoodle or Miva) only provide minimal traffic compared to the 'big three'.

Thanks for your comment Jacknoir, but you've been fed myths. Low ranking, unrelated site links DO have value - 3WayLinks has proven it! ALL of my sites have increased in Page Rank & SE rank because of 3WL. Higher PR sites related to your site ARE BETTER, but using 3WL is definitely not a waste ;-)

"The network is full of quality links. All sites in the network have been indexed and more than 60% have some PageRank value." - Links low ranking websites not even related to the topic of my website? is next to worthless. Seems like a waste of time but I give you 3 stars for a well structured lens
