The entire reasoning behind this is to eliminate accidental cracking due in part to running into corners or getting up from tables too quickly.

Lock Your Phone - One of the things that a lot of people do infreqently is lock their phone and this is a very easy thing to do. The reason you need to lock your phone is because the chances of it being stolen are less likely when it is locked. When phones are unlocked, they are very easy to use and change rather quickly so simply locking your phone will make people think twice about taking something they won't even be able to use.

Now that you know a bunch of different ways to keep your phone safe, I highly recommend that you do. Don't just think that nothing can happen to your phone because you take care of it because most of the problems are causes by basic mistakes.
