Keys Signature >>> For Sharps FCGDAEB <<< For Flats
Order of Sharps & Flats In this Order Respectively.
This is how I teach myself and other how to remember the Key Signatures
Well here is my trick.
I forced myself to remember 2 steps.
1. FCG --- in this order respectively.
So the First sharp have to be the F# ---- the next consecutive sharp will have to be C# --- Then next one will be G#.
Not so hard to remember the above.
2. The world BEAD ----- think about your Wrist bands made of a bunch of BEAD in this order respectively B E A D
Now if you can switch the world BEAD backward or in-reverse
It is going to look like this ---------- >>> D A E B
3. Now let us put steps 1 & 2 together in their respective order
F C G D E A B
So after the G# ----- The next consecutive sharp will have to be D#
Then the next sharp has to be E#
Then the next consecutive shapr has to be A#
The Last sharp will have to be the B#
----
Here it is - The order of sharps
1st shapr is the F#
2nd shapr is the C# ----- F# - C#
3rd sharp is the G# ----- F# - C# - G#
4th sharp is the D# ----- F# - C# - G# - D#
5th sharp is the E# ----- F# - C# - G# - D# - E#
6th sharp is the A# ----- F# - C# - G# - D# - E# - A#
7th sharp is the B# ----- F# - C# - G# - D# - E# - A# - B#
----------
-----
For the order of Sharps - we are going backward starting from the 1st Flat and It has to be Bb.
The next consecutive Flat is the Ab
The next one has to be Eb
The next consecutive flat will be Db
The next flat will be Gb
The next flat has to be Cb
The last Flat has to be Fb
Here it is - The order of Flats
1st flat is the Bb
2nd flat is the Ab ----- Bb - Ab
3rd flat is the Eb ----- Bb - Ab - Eb
4th flat is the Db ----- Bb - Ab - Eb - Db
5th flat is the Gb ----- Bb - Ab - Eb - Db - Gb
6th flat is the Cb ----- Bb - Ab - Eb - Db - Gb - Cb
7th flat is the Fb ----- Bb - Ab - Eb - Db - Gb - Cb - Fb

How to use the Circle of the Fifth
The relationship of Keys Signature and Circle of the Fifth
Let us start learning and analyze the mystery of the Circle of the Fifth.
Start at the top of the Circle do you see the C
1. From the C as the 1st. Count up Five step as: C D E F G
The key of G has ONE SHARP --- Do you see it on the picture above?
So you can say: The Key of G has one sharp and the Sharp is the F# ---- cool isn't and it is not so hard to understand I hope.
2. From the G as the 1st count up five steps - you are going to land on the D --- Caution --- Not to worry about half step between b& c and E & F .
The key of D now has Two Sharps in this order respectively ---- F # --- C#
So you can say : The key of D has Two sharps and they are: F# --- C#
3. Continue in this fashion, the next key five step up from the D is the key of A
The key of A has Three Sharps and the sharps are: ----- F# - C# - G# ----- in this order respectively.
So you can say: The key of A has Three Sharps and the sharp are in this order respectively --- F# --- C# --- G#
4. From the key of A count up Five steps. You are going to land on the key of E
The key of E now has Four Sharps in this order respectively: --- F# - C# - G# - D#
So you can say: The key of E has Four Sharps in this order respectively: --- F# - C# - G# - D#
5. From the key of E - counts up five steps - you are going to land on the key of B
The key of B has Five sharps in this order respectively: --- F# - C# - G# - D# - E#
So you can say: The key of B has Five sharps in this order respectively --- F# - C# - G# - D# - E#
6. From the key of B - Counts up Five step - you are going to land on the key of F#
The key of F# has Six Sharps in this order respectively: F# - C# - G# - D# - E# - A#
So you can say: The key of F# has Six Sharps in this order respectively: --- F# - C# - G# - D# - E# - A#
7. Last sharp. From the key of F# - Count up Five step - you are going to land on the key of C#
The keys of C# has Seven Sharps in this order respectively --- F# - C# - G# - D# - E# - A# - B#
So you can say: The key of C# has Seven Sharps in this order respectively: F# - C# - G# - D# - E# - A# - B#
I hope I am not confuse you. I will trying to come up with a better explanation when I find one.
-----------------------
Let us learn the order of flats using the Circle of Fifth picture as reference.
Start at the C on the top of the circle --- We are going Counter-Clockwise for the flats order.
1. From the C as the 1st - Count 4 steps - counter-clockwise - you are going to land on the key of F.
The key of F has One Flat and the Flat is ----- Bb
So you can say: The key of F has One Flat and the Flat is ----- Bb
2. From the key of F - Count 4 steps - Counter-clockwise - You are going to land on the key of Bb
The key of Eb has Two Flats and the Flats are in this order respectively --- Bb - Eb
So you can say: The key of Bb has Two Flats and the Flats are int this order respectively --- Bb - Eb
3. From the key of Bb - Count 4 steps - Counter-clockwise - You are going to land on the key of Eb
The key of Eb has Three Flats and the Flats are in this order respectively --- Bb - Eb - Ab
So you can say: The key of Eb has Three Flats and the Flats are in this order respectively --- Bb -Eb -Ab
4. From the key of Eb --- Count 4 steps - Counter-clockwise - You are going to land on the key of Ab
The key of Ab has Four Flats and the Flats are in this order respectively --- Bb - Eb - Ab - Db
So you can say: The key of Ab has Four Flats and the Flats are in this order respectively --- Bb - Eb - Ab - Db
5. From the key of Ab --- Count 4 steps - Counter-clockwise - You are going to land on the key of Db
The key of Db has Five Flats and the Flats are in this order respectively --Bb - Eb - Ab - Db - Gb
So you can say: The key of Db has Five Flats and the Flats are in this order respectively --- Bb - Eb - Ab - Db - Gb
6. From the key of Db - Count 4 steps - Counter-clockwise - You are going to land on the key of Gb
The key of Gb has Six Flats and the Flats are in this order respectively --- Bb - Eb - Ab - Db - Gb - Cb
So you can say: The key of Gb has Six Flats and the Flats are in this order respectively ----- Bb - Eb - Ab - Db - Gb - Cb
7. Last Flat. From the key of Gb --- Count 4 steps - Counter-clockwise - You are going to land on the key of Cb
The key of Cb has Seven Flats and the Flats are in this order respectively --- Bb - Eb - Ab - Db - Gb - Cb - Fb
So you can say: The key of Cb has Seven Flats and the Flats are in this order respectively --- Bb - Eb - Ab - Db - Gb - Cb - Fb
