Quick Linking Tips
If you use the Lens Workshop Addon (with either Firefox or Google Chrome) you can easily make these links from with your Workshop.
You can keep people on your page longer and limit the amount of outbound links from your Lens by placing the outbound links in specific modules, then linking to them with in-page links whenever you mention that link - like I just did in the above paragraph with the link to the Lens Workshop Addon.
Getting Started - Firefox & Chrome
In both Firefox and Chrome, you should see [#link] and [Top] at the top of each module just above the "Edit" button when you enter "My Workshop" using the "Edit" button from your Squidoo Dashboard.
If you are not seeing this, then you are not using Firefox or Chrome with the Lens Workshop Addon installed.
Try re-installing it, and check it out again.
If you want to use Internet Explorer or Safari instead, not to worry, there is a way to do it.
Your Link Is Just A Right Click Away

If you are seeing [#link] and [Top] then just right click on [#link] for the module you want to link to. In Firefox, click on "Copy Link Location" of the context menu, with Chrome, click on "Copy link address."
You've now saved the link to your clipboard!
Make Your Hypertext Link
Go to the module where you want to make your link, and paste your link. Don't forget to add your own quotes, the copied link won't be encased in them, but you'll need them for the link to work properly.
Your link should look something like this:
If you copied it right, you should be able to recognize your published Lens address (don't worry of the Lens hasn't been published yet, it'll be right when you do publish), and you'll see "#module" followed by some numbers, this is how Squidoo identifies the module.
I like to make sure I have a title, so everyone can see that this is a link, and not just some bit of different colored text.
Which will give you the title bubble when you hoover your mouse pointer over it in the finished Lens:
You can create a kind of "Module Elevator" with these linking tips and Back to the Top links.
Alternative Linking
Use for IE, Safari or to link to a module in someone else's Lens
To do this with IE, Safari, or with a module on someone else's Lens, you just need to go to the published Lens and find either "Contents at a Glance" or a table of contents.
Just right-click on the link from the module you want to link to:
For Internet Explorer, click "Copy Shortcut" on the context menu.
With Safari, click on "Copy Link"
Once you've done that, just follow the linking instructions from before.
Of course this method can also be used with Firefox and Chrome, just do it the same way shown for copying links in the Workshop.
Don't forget to test your links after you publish, and recopy links if you remove or replace your modules.
I recently switched some Text Modules for Amazon Spotlight Modules, and had to re-do all those links. If I hadn't, it would have been extremely frustrating for my readers
Get The Right Link For Your Lens From Within The Workshop
Just a parting tip, I see many people (and I've done it, too) post links to their Lenses that look like:
http://www.squidoo.com/lensmaster/new_workshop/how-to-link-squidoo-modules
See the "new_workshop"?
That won't work for people who click on it, and it won't look right if you add it to a Plexo.
When you are in your Workshop, right-click on "View Lens"
Click on "Copy Link Location" of the context menu of Firefox, "Copy link address" with Chrome, "Copy Shortcut" in Internet Explorer, or "Copy Link" in Safari. That will save the correct address of the published page to your clipboard, and you can paste it where you need to use it.
Lens Workshop Addon
If you haven't checked out this extremely handy set of tools, you really need to. It made me switch from IE to Firefox, for Lens building, at least. When I do try working without it, I find that it really affects my productivity.
Yes, everything that the Lens Workshop Addon helps you do can be done without it, but that means adding not just one or two extra steps, it sometimes means several added steps.

Back To The Top Link
The back to the top link, or "Up Link" is a convenient way to jump readers back to the beginning of your Lens without making them scroll long distances. This code will work from anywhere on your Lens, but always sends your readers back to the top:
[Words or graphic]
If you only have a single in-page link to a module like this, you can try the linking tips I've shown you to make a more specific "Back where you came from" link instead of the "Up Link".

- Great tip! I keep forgetting about that module link being in my workshop. In fact, I published a lens just the other day with a TOC just so I could get the module links. Wasted a bunch of time, didn't I? I'll remember now, thanks to your great information!
