I will outline a 4 phase program they use, with each phase serving a different purpose to carve you out the body of your dreams. I am going to outline the model diet and Abercrombie Workout, so keep on reading.
Fitness Model Workout for Abercrombie Models
Phase 1- Sarcoplasmic Hypertrophy
This phase focuses on cumulative fatigue using high reps to really tire out the muscle with a pyramid system to cause intracellular growth within the target muscles. Rest between the sets are kept to a minimum, between 30 and 60 seconds to give the muscle little chance in recovery. Each set is built on the last set so you really do have to keep the rest down to ensure the workout isn't too long as alot of sets are used. Cardio is used after every workout, keeping it brief but intense using tabatas and interval training. These cardio methods will ensure you gain muscle & lose fat.
Phase 2- Increase Muscle And Density
In this phase you will continue to add sarcoplasmic growth but also myofibrillar growth and create big and dense muscles. It is a popular strength program using 5x5 principles so 5 reps and 5 sets on a certain exercise. It is in my opinion the most enjoyable phase and the results are out of this world. It is still a 2 day split, with the same muscles paired together as in phase 1. The same cardio routines are used again. The diet will depend on whether you have any fat to gain or lose.
Phase 3- Maximum Density and Definition
This phase is killer I am going to let you know right now. Having a body like an Abercrombie Model is not easy to achieve. It is simple however and if you want to look like a model bad enough you will follow this phase religiously. In this section you are going to reveal cazy definition, veins appearing on the surface of your skin and the v cuts ladies go crazy for and even get stronger. Hopefully I have excited you enough to give this phase your full commitment. The workout split is arranged differently in this phase with a rep range of 2-4 on really heavy weights. Workout 1 is chest, back, thighs and abs. Workout 2 is shoulders, triceps, biceps and calves. After each workout you are going to perform a HIIT workout using a 2:1 or even 1:1 ration and then follow that with some steady state cardio for half an hour. This is known as strategic cardio in fitness circles.
Phase 4- Bonus Phase
Shrink Wrap Your Muscles
This is done for 3 weeks while on creatine to really add some sarcoplasmic growth. It uses the exact same workout as phase 1 and the diet is the same as phase 3. This phase will shrink wrap your muscles.
Phase 5- Maintenance
Phase 5 of the Abercrombie Workout
is all about maintaining your new physique with as little effort as possible. The way to do this is to do 2-3 resistance training workouts per week, and eat a fairly clean diet which will benefit your health as well. Try to factor in intermittent fasting. An approach I use is to fast daily for 16 hours, so typically I get 8 hours sleep and i don't eat 4 hours before bedtime, and skip breakfast. This allows you to eat a bit more freer and can get some of your favourite junk meals in and still maintain a good physique.
