Who knows it might! Don't judge before you try it out and see how it looks on yourself. Just because you don't fit in the fashion criteria or don't have an hourglass body, it doesn't mean your fashion choices are limited. First of all, go for a pencil skirt shopping, try on some skirts and see how they look on you. Sometimes you might feel that you're not good enough to wear a pencil skirt but others might feel that you're perfect and vice versa.
There are no strict rules on who can and can't wear pencil skirts but a thirteen year old girl wearing pencil skirt never looks good in my eyes. So yes there is a slight age limit for wearing pencil skirts. Any one above the age of 15 can feel free to wear a pencil skirt and this applies even if you're in your 70s or 80s! Some chubby girls feel that they're not fit enough to wear pencil skirts but I think they look more amazing in pencil skirts than a size 6, 8, 10!
Pencil skirts give this curvy appearance for women who barely have any curves so it's a great advantage for all body shapes.
One little advice though, please doesn't wear a pencil skirt if you do not have any meat at all in your bum and thighs area. It just doesn't look seductive at all. Eat and gain some flesh on your bottom areas and then you will look hot in that pencil skirt!

Too short to wear a Pencil Skirt?
Don` t worry! Grab a pair of heels or wedges and you`re ready to go..
If you feel that you're too short to wear a pencil skirt, just grab a pair of heels or wedges and you will look just fine. If you're like me and you can't walk in high heels, then try wearing cute wedges or ankle boots with your pencil skirts.
I always mention this on all my fashion advice articles, if you cannot walk in high heels, please do not force yourself into one and make yourself look like a clown in public. Either learn how to walk in high heels or just don't wear one. It's much better to look short than look like you just broke your knees because that's how most girls look when they force themselves into wearing high heels just to look taller. Ankleboots look really sexy with Pencil skirts and are much comfortable to walk in so try wearing them too.
If you're below 5 ft, stick to just above knees Pencil skirts because the below knee pencil skirts will make your legs appear even shorter and you do not want that. Wear the same color tights and shoes [preferably black], this will make your legs appear longer.
