How to Make a Flapper Dress:
Step 1 - Find a straight dress or loose fitting tunic that has little or no shape to it. Try and find something that hits either above or right at the knee. If you're used to wearing black dresses most of the time, then this is a great chance to experiment with color.
Step 2 - Find some fringe that is a least 1" wide to sew on the bottom of the dress. The fringe should be long enough, so it goes to the end of the dress.
Step 3 - Accessorize with loads of pearls and/or beads.
Step 4 - Pair with chunky heels and a Sequenced headband.

- It is not difficult to learn how to sew a dress. Once you learn to draft a simple pattern and design variations any pattern, it it is easier for you to learn how to sew a dress. Just prepare and choose the right materials to make the clothing that you've envisioned. However, do remember that the material you should choose is durable and of quality. The pattern / color should be suitable for any season or occasion so that you'll be able to wear any season.
