Step no. 1

1. A larger pan
2. A smaller metal pan
3. Baking paper

5. Pictures of butterflies
6. Chocolate

Step no. 2

Let's get it started

chocolate in a plastic bagNow first thing you have to do is to melt chocolate. You put some water in the larger pan and you put the metal pan (with chocolate in it) on top of it. You break chocolate on smaller pieces, so that it melts quicker. You put it on a hob, mix it a couple of time and wait until chocolate is completely melted.
When the chocolate is melted you wait 5 to 10 minutes, soo it won't be too hot. After that you put chocolate into the plastic bag- help yourself with a spoon and make sure that you completely fill one of the cormers of the plastic bag (it's on the picture). Now you take scissors and cut off the end of bag corner (of course the one filled with chocolate). But make sure you don't make a big hole, cut of just a pinch, because you must make thin lines with it!

Step no.3

And now we make them :)

Put the baking paper on top of the butterflies pictures. I help myself with a scotch tape.
Now you take the chocolate and start drawing over the butterflies. I usually put the pictures under the baking paper, just for orientation- so that both wings are the same size. It doesn't matter if you don't stick exactly to the drowing.

If you want them to look like they are flying, you must draw the wings separately (if you try to separete them after the chocolate becomes hard, they might crack).

When you're done with the external lines, you draw the internal ones. Make sure that the inside lines are connecting both external lines of a wing (it's more stiff this way)

external and internal lines
Now, while the chocolate is stil warm, put the sprinkles on (if you wish).

At this point I must say that you don't have to worry if the lines are not perfect, or if a drop of chocolate fell on your creation- you can cut it out when the butterflies are stiff (but make sure you do it with a warm knife).

When you're all done with decorating, you put them in a freezer for about 10 minutes, and then for a half an hour (still on the baking paper) in a fridge. When they are completely hard, take them off the paper into a little plastic container and keep them in your fridge until you need them :))

Butterflies or...

...or anything else!

You don't like butterflies soo much? That's OK! You can make a lot of other things like this. You can do triangels and then fold them into a pyramid. Or don't fold them, just let them be triangels. You can also do flowers, hearts, circles,...

I've made this decorations the same way as the butterflies...

Write something with chocolate

chocolate love ;)You can also write something like this- ''happy birthday'' or ''I love you'' or names of your children...
