PROGRAMMING A DUBSTEP BEAT

STEP 1: Open a new session and give your beat a name. Many producers have working titles like "afternoon madness" or whatever.

STEP 6: Hi-hats can be placed on three, six, nine, eleven, fourteen and fifteen. It would sound cool to make nine and fourteen a hi-hat suck.
