Putting Your Ghost Ornament Together
Step 2 - Cut your fabric into squares, about 12 - 18 inches. No need to measure, just eyeball it and make rough cuts. The scragglier the better.
Step 3 - Pick up a ball and drape the fabric over it, roughly centering the ball under the square.
Step 4 - Gather the fabric under the ball to create a "neck".
Step 5 - Tie one end of a piece of ribbon or string around the neck and knot it securely.
Step 6 - With your Sharpie marker, draw a scary or distressed face on the head.
Step 7 - Hang the ghost ornaments in your tree.

How Do You Celebrate Halloween?
Or do you celebrate at all? When my husband was little, his family got with other neighborhood friends and hosted parties while the trick-or-treating was going on. More recently, our church hosted a Trunk-or-Treat celebration every year. Families would decorate the trunk of their cars and fill them with goodies. The kids would troll the parking lot getting goodies from the trunks of the cars. A chilli cook-off, along with brought goodies fed the costumed hordes, and prizes were given for the best costumes. At home, we make our annual Apple Cider Donut recipe and Hot Apple Cider. Kids at the door always say, "What smells so good?"!

- We used to hang ghosts on the tree in our front yard, but now we just have a line of flashing pumpkin lights - and a skull that flashes red eyes and "talks" at the trick or treaters!
