How To Make Funny Pictures using Photoshop or Macromedia Fireworks

1. Choose two photos that you think would look funny combined. It is funnier if you know the people that you are combining. (try to make sure that the two pictures will match up and look realistic).

2. Open Photoshop or Macromedia Fireworks. I use fireworks as my photo editor.

3. Open the picture of the head that you want to cut out FIRST!

4. Using the lasso tool, draw a circle around the section that you want to cut out. (Get as close to the section as possible. Sometimes it helps to magnify the photo).

5. Once you have the area that you want to cut out. Right click on the area and choose: EDIT and the CUT. The selected area should disappear.

6. Now remove the unwanted photo by clicking on the X or Exit button at the top of the photograph. (Do not exit out of Fireworks, just the picture).

7. Click On FILE and select NEW. Open a new blank slate and paste the section that you just cut onto the slate. Save this file as something that you can easily find. (You do not have to do this step, but I do so that I can use the head again later on other pictures).

8. Now open the picture that you want the selected area posted on. Click EDIT and PASTE the picture on the other picture. Now size the image accordingly to try to make it match up with the body. (If it is not allowing you to resize the picture, then click on the upper right where you see the LAYERS and click on the image that you want to edit. Once you highlight it you should be able to resize it).

9. Now size the image relative to the body (try to make it look as realistic as possible).

10. The final step is to change the color to match it up as close as possible to the original face. Click on FILTERS and go to ADJUST COLOR and then to BRIGHTNESS/CONTRAST. Play with that and get it as close as you can. If you are not satisfied, use the HUE/SATURATION to finish it up.
