How to Make Giant Bubbles

Everyone Loves Bubbles
Do you remember as a kid, playing with bubbles? I do. I play with my own kids with bubbles. There is an endless supply of fun when there are bubbles in the air. I don't really understand the fascination, but it seems to be something that everyone has done at least once in their lives.
There are several reasons I think they are so much fun. The first is because they are so cheap to make. You can make your own with a little dish soap and something round with a hole in the center. Bubbles are lighter than air. They float. There is something majestic about them. They have almost a spirituality about them. Finally, they are extremely fun to pop. If you can get them to be really big, you can watch them pop in a chain reaction. They are beautiful.

I remember playing with bubbles as a kid. Usually it was just with a bottle and one of those small wands that you can get at any dollar store. There were a few time when I was given a bubble gun or a large wand that blew bigger bubbles.
6 Cups of Water
2 Cups of Dish Soap (Dawn works best)
1 Cup of Light Corn Syrup
Mix Well. Let it Sit over night if you can.

Giant Bubble Recipe - Complex Recipe
Great for the Biggest Bubbles
This is a slightly strange recipe. Some of the ingredients are available at your grocery store. Don't ask me to explain the ingredients. I think the video does a better job than I would ever do, but this recipe will make for great, humongus bubbles that will last for a long time.
1 1/2 Gallons of hot water
half teaspoon of J-Lube (or other brand personal lubricant)
One tube (4.25oz) of Surgilube
1/4 cup of glyceine (99.5 or better)
Stir Till Blended. Don't let a foam appear.
Add 16 oz of Non-Ultra Dawn
1/2 cup of Dawn Manual Pot & Pan Solution

Great Bubble and Wand Auctions
If you don't want to make one, buy one
Honestly, you could probably buy a Bubble wand that will do what you want it to do. You probably won't be able to do the really big ones, but the kids will have plenty of fun with them.
I always like to look around to see if there is something I can buy cheaper than if I made it. It only makes sense.

Beautiful Beach Bubbles
These are the Coolest Giant Bubbles I have Ever Seen
I can imagine what people will say when you are blowing these bubbles on the beach. I wonder what kind of reactions they would have. I think most people will sit and watch in wonder. I bet there will be a few who will complain because you are taking up so much of the beach. Then there will be the fanatics that will say you are polluting nature and harming wildlife.

- My favorite bubble memory is always my most recent one. :) WHICH is this past week with my grandchildren. Being grandboys, they are loving bubble shooter guns. But I must say, after seeing this cool lens, we will just HAVE to try the giant bubbles out. Thanks so much!

- Bubbles are sure winner at kids. May I suggest you to adapt/expand your recipes to more 'scientific' terms. In our country nobody knows what is J-Lube, for instance... Thanks for your lens! Thumbs up:)
