- Potatoes (preferably white potato, but can use red or sweet)
- Oil or butter (preferably vegetable oil)
- Precooking ingredients (it depends on whether or not you are going to microwave, boil, bake, or steam the potatoes)

How To Make Home Fries

1. Partially cook the potatoes by boiling, baking, steaming, or microwaving them. They should be a semi-soft consistency, but not so soft that it doesn't hold it's shape.

2. Take the potato/potatoes and either dice, chunk, wedge, or slice the potatoes into the desired shape

3. Place the pieces of potato in a pan or skillet and fry until the pieces are golden brown.
