    You can really make good money selling your skills online. The bidding system in most freelance sites, however, is a very unsettling thing that you have to deal with as some employers haggle over price to save money.

    I've been able to earn money online through sites such as Squidoo and Triond. For people who are willing to put the time and effort in, and have patience, almost anybody can earn money online today.

    I'm confused by the survey link ... it appears that you have to buy something to get paid. Is that the case?

    For some of the surveys, they have you purchase or sign up for a service. I don't like that type of survey myself, because I am likely to forget to unsubscribe and end up paying for something I didn't want. It seems most of the higher paying surveys on some of these sites are like that. I stick to the smaller payout surveys which offer and incentive of a few dollars. That is part of the reason I find that the surveys don't work to make me much money. If you are organized enough to keep the other type strait than perhaps you would have much more success than I. I know myself so I don't sign up for anything that auto renews.

    Great lens on making money online. I have found that to be successful in making money online, you need to have a mentor that you can trust. As they say, don't try and reinvent the wheel. Find someone who is successful, get under their "wings" and learn everything you can about him and his strategies.

    Thanks for this lens. I am favoriting this page so can come back later. Would love to truly make money online. Have made a little but a few eBay sales and a Zazzle store just don't cut it. Squidoo is new for me, but love it so far since it gives an outlet for my writing. Not sure yet if much money can be made here, since I only have 4 lenses to date.

    Keep writing, and you will see the return. It really takes a bit of time to get started, but once you see some money coming in it gets easier to keep it up.

    Not enough to replace my job, but article writer kind of fell in my lap when e how closed their publishing platform and Demand Media took over. Lots of article titles and categories at various prices.

    odesk is definitely legits, i've worked there since 2008, just stopped now coz i don't have much time and the buyers are starting to charge lower for article writing
