How To Make Money Online In Singapore?

You might have seen him on TV on 9th February 2008. He was interviewed and he briefly explained how he made literally millions online! Some people might think that it is difficult but it is actually very easy! All you need to do is give it a try!

Ewen is a lauded public speaker where his sold out seminars costs like thousands of dollars to attend and during one of his seminars, he actually set-up a website live and within 3 days, sales passed the USD1 Million mark which totally awed the entire audience...

The internet is the door to the world. It doesn't matter where you are, given the fact that we are in Small Singapore doesn't make a difference. If a fellow Singaporean did it, I am sure you can too!

Making money on the internet is the same as running a business, albeit a little easier! You need to sell a product, be it through reviews or advertising.

Remember, you do not require a website neither do you require a product to sell. There are SO MANY merchants out there that are more than happy to share a percentage of the sale with you. All you have to do is drive traffic to their site.

This Is A Broad Example Of How You Make Money Online Through Affliate Marketing.

Let's say you have a blog, (Blogger, My Space, Facebook, Xanga or Whatever!) and you wrote an article on Clothing. You then sign up with Ebay or Amazon, create a link and place it on your blog. When somebody clicks on that link and buys something from Ebay, you get paid! Simple!

There are many get rich quick scams on the internet or "Work From Home" scams. The below are infamous!

Scam 1) Data Entry

This is a total scam as the name suggests! Why would anybody pay you for a data entry job when these data are apparently "confidential"? Will somebody from USA pay you money to do data entry when he can get his neighbour to do it? Think about it!

Scam 2) Paid Surveys

This is another scam. I myself got scammed 60USD back in 2004. You are supposed to pay a one off membership fee which grants lifetime access to surveys. Totally rubbish! After having joined a paid survey scam before, let me tell you what it is about...

Inside the main portal, I was asked to join a Gazillion other websites with so many passwords to remember for each website. I was then asked to enter demographics like name, age, occupation, interest. They are "supposed" to send me surveys to complete when there are companies targeting my demographic group. I was really stupid to get conned then! If those companies want information, they can set-up a face-to-face Focus Group instead! Why would a European company want information from me???

Scam 3) Paid Emails

This scam works the same way as the survey scam except they want you to "scam" other people by emailing them and creating "downlines". Much like Multi Level Marketing. What product are they selling anyway?!

To do any legal business, you need to connect a buyer to a seller. That is your job as an Affliate Marketer! You earn your commission (generally between 50-75%) when the buyer buys from the seller.

There are many legal ways to make money online but generally they revolve around selling a product to a buyer. Let me highlight a few:

1) Set up ebay store

You need a product to sell and remeber advertising on ebay is not free.

2) Blogging

Now, how how can you actually blog? You need to drive "Correct" traffic to your blog so that people will actually buy your product.

3) Reviewing Products

You can compare products and write product reviews for a pittance. You need to be very savvy about the products you write on and how much you can actually write anyway?

4) Create a membership forum

You can create a forum where people pay money to be a member. You muse focus on a highly targeted group and you must publish such unique content found nowhere else that people will pay for your services.

5) Be An Affliate Marketer

This is by far the easiest option for newbies. You don't need any web development skills because you are basically taking a Merchant's Product and selling them to others and getting your commission!

This is written specifically for the newbie in mind. Someone that has no clue to Internet Marketing. Of course, after reading it myself, I find many techniques inside are applicable for "seasoned" affliate marketers as well!
