Thre are some great software packages out there to enable you to make music on your own laptop or home workstation but there are drawbacks.
Cubase and fruity loops for example are excellent but they are rather expensive. In addition they are also complicated to use and have alot of things you won't need or want - but still end up paying for.
Free software and online music makers are ok for the basics, yet their sound quality is poor, often only giving you MP3 and a very limited range of tools.

Broadcast Quality
MP3 is no good for great quality music. If you load it into your software it does not replicate the original quality. DubTurbo uses WAV 4.11 sound for broadcast quality music.

- Online beatmakers are a dream come true for anyone who doesn't have enough money to visit a professional music studio. Almost anyone can learn how to create beats within one or two days. I was able to get the hang of it within one day. I like the fact that you can create rap, pop, and house beats.
