You can build a site with enough pages to get yourself going and direct traffic to it via a few Squidoo lenses, writing articles and posting the to good article directories etc ... I published a site using Weebly in about an hour. I type slow :-) but by checking it out (don't laugh dang it!) here: How to Make Free Money Online Fast you can quickly see that it looks pretty damn good for about 60 minutes work and it is monetized with Google Adsense. A free site that can bring you in some cash with some effort on your part. I'm serious, I checked out the source code and all the meta tags, site description and h1,h2,h3 headings along with html validation are in place. This is a darn fine tool. When designing your marketing campaign keep in mind that even though you may be short on money it may be wise to invest a few bucks, anywhere from $3 - $24 for a domain name to spruce up the "customer view" of your marketing campaign and here's why:

1) If you use weebly.com or some other free web site hosting and site builder you can make your free web site look like it's your own site simply by using your own domain. Suppose you smartly choose to work in a niche, like cooking, in which you have a vast amount of knowledge and talent. Buy investing a few bucks in a domain name you can use the domain to LOOK like a pro by having it "re-direct" to your free web site. You may not own the site, but you LOOK like you own the site to a potential customer. They click on something like: cooklikeachef.com (your new domain) rather than a long link like: cooklikeachef.weebly.com that screams: "Hey I'm using a free site" but trust me I'm an expert. Now...

That doesn't mean you HAVE to own a domain name to make free money online. You don't. But in all honesty it certainly helps increase conversions (sales) via LOOKING more "expert like."

2) Let's say that you have all this knowledge in cooking and you choose to write original articles as your main marketing campaign focus. I highly recommend article marketing as a primary way to drive free, highly targeted traffic to any site whether it be a Squidoo lens or a web site you have built on a free hosting platform.
