How to get organized in three steps - Goals, Projects,Tasks and the Android way

If you are overwhelmed with plenty of tasks and activities both at work and/or home. I have a tip for you about the "Getting Things Done(r)" method. Most computer utility tools tend to simply be task or checklist oriented and if you have project management tools, too complex and time-consuming to use.

The Gtdagenda tool let's you organize your life by setting vision, goals, projects and tasks.It integrates with your email and uses calendar, priority, next action and daily, weekly, monthly checklist options.

Get started by setting working on your vision or if you cannot, start with your goals. Use the goal as a well defined result you want to reach or achieve. An example, you would like to have a business website of your own. Then define the goal.

  • Goal: Develop a business website

  • Then start listing what is required, remember a task should not be comprised of multiple items, if you have that situation, group tasks that belong together and define a project. An example:

  • Project: Find and decide on my business area or niche

  • Now that you have defined a project, what tasks do I have to do? Some examples:

  • Task: Research on Google by using keywords I am interested in

  • Task: Check statistics and page ranks for the sites you find

  • Task: Decide on your area

  • Now that you have several tasks, you can set priority and decide next action to decide what has to be done first and if you choose to indicate where, you can also use the context feature

    For your daily, weekly or monthly activities you can schedule those appear when it is time.

    I have noticed that when you have multiple projects and many tasks, Gtdagenda helps you a lot by allowing you to easily focus on what is important and what is next, resulting in that you execute your tasks and check them off instead of just scrolling endless checklists. I would recommend you check it out, please provide comments once you have done so.

    The Gtdagenda tool works on computers as well as your mobile phone. On the mobile phone you have two ways to use it;

    1. If you have an Android phone, go ahead and download the application if not

    2. Logon with the phone's browser by using the .mobi url address instead of .com
