My grandmother was a 'quilter' and I still have and use a couple of the quilts she made me more than 40 years ago. Today my DIL is the quilter in the family -- she's made quilts for wall hangings and for beds, but recently began expanding to quilted purses. I've never done quilting, but love the end results. It's a wonderful talent to have.
