However, the best way to explore Cook Islands is to rent a motor scooter. You will be required to obtain Cook Islands Driver's License at a central police station for a small fee. If you don't have motorcycle license from your country, then you will also be required to take and pass a short driving test on a motor scooter with a local police officer.
