Easy ways to promote your Zazzle store
The question about how to promote your Zazzle store comes up all the time. It is one that I ask my self all the time too. My thought was to share it with all of you as I find out new ways how to promote a Zazzle store.

Contents at a Glance
The Basics
All of your products need a descriptive title.
Description
All of your products need at least a short description. Have some variations from one description to another.
Tags for products
Tags are very important. Your customers will find you through these keywords when they use the search function on Zazzle.
Tags for your store
Go to http://www.zazzle.com/my/store/all and click on Manage next to the store name, then click on Edit Settings and type in the keywords in the Tags Box that describe you store. This will create a meta tag in the html coding of your store. This is important for searches through google.com, bing.com, and other search engine.
If you don't have a Facebook account, create one at http://www.facebook.com/ and post updates to your store on your wall. Add a link to your Facebook page below.

If you don't have an twitter account, then you can sign up at Twitter.com. With twitter you have an easy tool to promote your store. Every time you have new accepted products you can tweet something like:
"We just added new product to our Zazzle store http://zazzle.com/hlehnerer"
Add about 20 new twitters to your following list every day. Pick twitters that follow your competition. If you sell products with pet image, then go to veterinarian twitters and start follow their followers. If you sell products with images from your area, then follow twitters from your area.

Make sure when you write about Zazzle and/or your Zazzle store that you always include the hashtag #zazzle. Automated service like paper.li can then pickup your tweets and incorporate them into something like The Zazzle Chatter.
Squidoo Lens
Create a Squido lens to promote your store. Create one for some niche images that you have in your store. Create one for your favore category. Create a Squido lens that promotes a mixture of your and other stores, ... The possibilities are endless. Add links to your Squido lenses below.

Twitter Welcome Message
Whenever you have a new follower at twitter send a DM to welcome her/him. Include a link to your Zazzle store in this message, but but don't be to pushy like "Now go here http://bit.ly/9aOADs and buy something". Try more something like:

You can use online software like animoto.com or flixtime.com to create your videos. There are also many offline software available to help you with the task (for example: Flash Slideshow Maker, Pohoto Slide Show, and many more ...) YouTube accept for upload file formats like .FLV, .AVI, .WMV, .MPEGPS, .MPEG4

- i like your zazzle products do you have many sales. i have been with zazzle but have not made as many sales as i thought i would i like my designs and think that they would be sellers if the right people see them how have you done so far.

- Well, this is all relative. I am happy with the sales that I have (but could be always more). I am always surprised of wjjat is selling and what is not. From all the PODs, Zazzle is doing by far the best for me.
