Say...are you interested in selling online? Maybe make some money?
I think you must be!
A paypal button is a GREAT bit of infrastructure but what you need to sell online is...
1. A Good Offer..and
2. Traffic to the offer that WANTS to buy the offer! THAT is the secret to success. I learned how to do this at...
You might be interested in A FREE Squidoo Site that gets FREE TRAFFIC via the search engines. I bought Pot Pie Girl's Ebook called One Week Marketing and, sure enough, in the first week I had two Squidoo sites indexed in Google and receiving traffic. Two sales were made the first week! All I did was follow her instructions. Pretty darn good if you ask me.
And traffic at my Squidoo sites has been going up for the last 5 months! I am now selling directly to that traffic OR diverting the traffic to two of my other sites. All of this because I read Pot Pie's Ebook and joined The Keyword Academy. Two of the best of the best. My other two websites that are getting more and more FREE TRAFFIC and SALES are linked right below for your reference.
The Keyword Academy may not be the fastest route to Internet Marketing Success, but it may well be the SUREST WAY!
Ask yourself this question....If you had a site that got FREE TARGETED TRAFFIC to it and you put a decent offer on it, don't you think you could sell some? I'd bet on it.
Curing Panic Attacks and Make Money Online
The first time I tried to put a PayPal button on a web page I darn near went nuts! It took me three days
If you don't know exactly how to do it, you can't do it at all!
And that isn't everything...there are several places in the process where you can screw it up pretty good!
I actually called their help line and connected with a gal that told me, over and over, that there was no way to have PayPal move your customer to a download page after the transaction. She even went so far as to give me the number to reach a professional paypal developer!
She was also practically impossible to understand.
So I went back to my standard method of gaining ground - STRUGGLE!
That night I drank too much beer.

The next day, reinvigorated by sleep, I called the same help number.
I got another gal on the line who I could understand perfectly and she told me exactly how to set it up and, from then on, it was easy and I was on my way!
My suggestion here is, if you don't seem to be getting good help when you call PayPal, politely ask for another person.
But that's not the only tricky part, there are several "mystery spots"!

Well, you don't have to go through the whole "make you nuts" process like I did. Stay tuned. Get paid!

There Are Many Way's To Market Online!
But The Best Way is the Simplest Way!
It's called One Week Marketing. I suppose that if you are really good you could do it in one week. I got my last lens up and running and INDEXED in 5 days! You can do it too!
The solution to selling online is to offer something to a visitor who has already been sorted into a group that is interested in your specific offer. In other words, sell something to someone who wants it.
I'm really glad I found this. I wouldn't have Squidoo sites or you good visitors. For those of you who might be interested this is an Internet Marketing plan that I could follow (and did) and end up with some good presence online.

If You Are looking For A Paypal Button...
You Are Working To Make Money Online!
Hello Folks!
When I made this lens it didn't occur to me that a bunch of you are interested in selling things on the web!
If you have a need for a paypal button then it's highly likely you have an offer you'd like to make to people, and, if they like what they see, they can click your button and get it. And you'll make money. It's just sales. Selling. Via the internet.
If you have never done this before, let me tell you, it is a real thrill. To get paid that is! Don't quit here!
There is something you also have to have or no one will click your button to pay you!
That something is traffic. People coming to your website.
But not just any old people. A certain kind is what you want!
You see, it won't work if you have a nice offer for towels if the people coming to your site are not interested in towels.
If you want to sell towels you have to "sort" your traffic out into those who want towels and those who don't. This is very easy on the net.
It's also the reason so many merchants have gotten rich. And so many went broke.
Pay attention now...
It's done by way of "keywords".
Keywords are search terms.
I avoided keywords at first because I didn't "get it" and it cost me dearly. You don't have to do that.
You can go to The Keyword Academy - where I am - and learn all you need to get what you want.
Do you know what you want? Remember the earlier example?
You want people who are interested in towels coming to your towel site! This can be done for free. Free and you knowing how.
Go here - find out how. The Keyword Academy. Tell 'em Riley sent you!
Here's a site that makes yours truly (me) money on a regular basis. It was my first one and it is way too complicated. It's a baby. It's only 3 months old.You don't get to learn how to keep it simple at first. It's just the way it is. Click here to go there... curing panic attacks
I learned the way to get the right traffic to it at The Keyword Academy.
But I couldn't have done it without Pot Pie Girl! I know...that's a weird nickname, but this gal is so good at what she does that you don't have to be! Check out One Week Marketing. I did! And I loved it!
One more thing - when you get to The Keyword Academy you are NOT going to find hype and hard to understand info. So, if you like hype, this won't interest you.
One more thing, one more time. To succeed at Making Money On The Web you only need a few things. Mostly that would be an "Offer" and "Traffic"...but the offer does have to have a way to get paid and the traffic has to be interested.
That's Where the Paypal Button comes in!
Thank you and here's to your success!

How To Put A Paypal Button On A Blog Or A Website.
<b>Get Your PayPal button "code" From the PayPal Site!</b>

Listen, I gotta tell you that when I first went to Paypal to get a button so that I could get paid was one of the most confusing and aggravating TWO DAYS of my marketing career!
You can even put a paypal button on an email!
Now that I think about it, I guess you can put one anywhere you have some code.
For the sake of folks that are new to this I want to make something clear about a web page or a blog page. This isn't "hard science". It's easier to understand.
I know you know what a web page can look like. It has text on it. It can have pictures, and video, and graphics that sit still and graphics that move. Lots of colors, too!
That's the web page we all know - often referred to as the "Normal" view.
Just for illustration let's imagine the web page as a sheet of paper.
There's the "Normal" side and there's the "Code" side. The code side is where you are going to put the button code that you get at PayPal!
Here's a neat trick. On the normal side you just determine exactly where you want the button to appear. Type the words "PayPal Button" right there on the normal side. Next go to the "code" side and find those words.
Replace those words on the code side with the paypal button code you got at PayPal. Switch to Normal. There's your button, right where you wanted it!
This page on my blog will tell you a LOT!

How To "Locate" Your PayPal Button Right Where You Want It!
"X" Marks The Spot!
This is a picture of the Very Simple Web Page. See where I typed in "PayPal Button".

Now go to Paypal and copy your button's code

This is a picture of that Very Simple Web Page's "code" or "source" (same thing) Note the words "PayPal Button" are "selected".

Now REPLACE the words "PayPal Button" with the actual Paypal button code.

Now, switch back from the web page's "source code" to the "Normal" view and...Here's the button - right where you want it - I typed the "Only $7" just above it...I like the touch..

So There You have It! The Paypal Button Right Where You Want It!
When someone clicks your button (a good sign) they will be taken straight to the transaction page.

I'm not going to get complicated here...but...in most cases you want your customer to be able to get what they paid for by going to a "Download Page" (in the case of downloadable products) or to some other type of "form" page.
After the transaction is complete there will be a final PayPal page with an orange button on it that usually says "Return to Merchant"
It's up to you to make sure the RTM button goes to the right place!
You do that in "Step 3" of the "create button" phase at PayPal when you are making your button in the first place. So there are several things to get put together.
Here is a link to my blog post detailing how to use PayPal Buttons to direct your customer to their download sheet.
Here is a link to my article at Submit Your Article that details that process also.
And here's a link to my other lens on PayPal Buttons.
Why two lenses on PayPal Buttons? Well, I had to be told more than once AND I had to be shown in different ways. A LOT hinges on this process being done right and you don't HAVE to make the mistakes I did - but you might anyway - Good Luck!
Thank you - Here's to your success,

PS: What could go wrong? You're listening to the right guy here because I have sent people to the wrong download page. I've sent them to 404 not found, and, I had to get up in the middle of the night to keep a fellow in Australia from canceling! Now...I always get it right. And I sleep better, too!
