How I Found Out How To Repair My Laptop

I live in a small town in a rural area. Computer repair shops are pretty much non-existent and there wasn't anyone around that I knew who had an idea how to repair my laptop. So the only choice was to drive about 25 miles to get to a more established town where repair facilities are available.

My laptop has been to 3 repair shops during a 2 month period. The technicians all claimed to know how to repair my laptop or so it seemed.

The first 2 shops I carried my laptop to got the same result. In the two instances my laptop would work a little longer but then the shutting down and the overheating would continue as usual which makes me question their competence.

At least this one gave me a full refund (after verbally turning their place upside down) and offered to fix my now defunct touchpad. Thanks but no thanks. These amateurs had no clue how to repair my laptop.

Of course it isn't free. I almost passed it up based on that alone, writing it off as another e-scam.
