The Journey To Learning How To Repair My Laptop
When my laptop starts acting up and decides to stop working for me, I am going to see to it that it's running again by whatever means. I would go as far as trying to find out how to repair my laptop, if I have to. I have most work related and personal files on it and it's my main computer and the only computer I have right now.
The Frustration Began.
My laptop would shut down on its own while I'm in the middle of something. It didn't take long for the laptop shutting down to occur more and more frequently like it's possessed or something.
Anothing uncomforting thing was the laptop would feel extremely hot. After a while the laptop simply refused to start and when it did, it wouldn't take long before its tendency to auto shut down kicked in.
Technicians To The Rescue..
And The Frustration Continues

My laptop has been to 3 repair shops during a 2 month period. The technicians all claimed to know how to repair my laptop or so it seemed.
The first 2 shops I carried my laptop to got the same result. In the two instances my laptop would work a little longer but then the shutting down and the overheating would continue as usual which makes me question their competence.
My laptop spent the shortest length of time by the 3rd shop(only a few days). The third time looked like it could be the charm. The 3rd repair shop seemed like it could do no harm, the laptop ran fine except that my touchpad functionality is now busted. At least this one gave me a full refund (after verbally turning their place upside down) and offered to fix my now defunct touchpad. Thanks but no thanks. These amateurs had no clue how to repair my laptop.

The Program That Taught Me...
HOW TO REPAIR MY LAPTOP
After countless hours of dead-end searching and watching some terribly edited videos hoping to learn and understand how to repair my laptop, I came across this set that claims to show you the ropes on almost every aspect of repairing laptops in a video collection.Of course it isn't free. I almost passed it up based on that alone, writing it off as another e-scam.
It took me a while to decide. I still did searches here and there for solutions how to repair my laptop but in the end I came right back to these laptop repair videos. If you click on any of the links scattered about this lens, you'll be taken to their website. Yes that's the program I am talking about that showed me how to repair my laptop touchpad problem.

Laptop Repair Info Overload
While I have fixed it thanks to this program there's something you should know. These videos would require more than just a few hours of your attention because there are tons of informative content inside. While it may not cover every single aspect of laptops, there's a good chance that you will find what you are looking for in here.
If your repair requires a replacement of parts the technician also tells you where you can get parts. The tech guy doing the videos is pretty damn good, and the quality and clarity of the videos are surprisingly good.
There is also a forum on the website where you can ask questions in case you are having any difficulties. It seems to usually have mutliple folks willing to assist you.
Anyway I greatly recommend trying out these videos. If a non-tech savvy guy like myself learned how to repair my laptop from them, you should be too so without further ado I leave you to go to the laptop repair videos website and come to your own conclusion.
