Building your own website.

Just a few years ago building a website was a challenge, trust me I know from experience. Having a business website used to mean you were one of the big dogs because people paid thousands of dollars to get these "high quality" html websites built by designers. Now, like everything else, the web design business has changed. For people like me it wasn't the best change, website designers like me lost a lot of business due to how easy people made it to make a website on your own with little to no programming skills. We'll I've gotten out of the website design business so I believe it would be proper to tell people just how easy it really is. I will show you in this article that you can build a website almost instantly with no programming skills required.

Step 1

Your domain name

domain namesYour domain name is one of the most important parts of having a good website for your business. Normally people go with their business names because they're easy to remember. If you think of looking for something on the internet, Google comes to most people's minds. They have already built a name for themselves but most small business just need to get noticed. Pick a domain name that's easy to remember, and make sure it is connected to your business. Be creative but professional and make sure you make the right choice the first time. Also be sure to try to use .com domain names instead of .net or .org. This will give your business better credibility.

Step 2

Building your site/Hosting

This is the part where webdesign took it's turn. Companies started sprouting up everywhere that allow people with no programming skills to drag and drop parts to build their own website. Along with this they provide hosting for a reasonable price. Hosting a website on a shared server is cheaper but for only $20/month or so businesses can just build their own and host it through these companies. This has hurt many website designers because now businesses could build their own websites with drag and drop programs instantly. I fished around a bit and found some of these websites that offer this kind of service (which are listed below). Just join one of these sites to start building your website.

Step 3

Sign up on a site

These host give website designer programs which will allow you to build your website almost instantly, they also help you set up your domain name and they are reasonably priced.

Step 4

Get found in search engines

Submit to search enginesSearch engines are vital to your website. Most websites that are created are not even recognized without search engines. They are free and they will bring you plenty of business. Getting listed in these search engines is the reason that you build a website in the first place. Without showing up in search engines your website would bring you absolutely no new business. The main reason people build websites is to create a larger customer base. Submitting to search engines is easy, Click on the picture to submit your website to 70+ search engines for free (after your finished building it of course).

Informative lens. yes i agree that people can make simple websites on their own for their presence on web. But if you want to include some complex features like offering some services through your website you need a professional web designer to design your website.Like real estate property websites are bit complex in design. I have discussed some key features of Real Estate websites in one of my lens.
