    In the UK we are allowed to drink; a for a man four units and a women three units. I personally believe that we should not be allowed to have any units if we are going to drive. At least then everybody knows where they stand as so many people of confused as to what a units actaullay consits of in reference to a drink Please read my lens about a Guide to Being a Safe Driver

    In the Uk. We have "safe drive to stay alive" campaign. Schools in an area meet at a venue where they watch hard hitting videos and real people come on stage and talk about real experiences of dangerous driving. Those people may include the parents of a young person who may have lost their son or daughter to drink driving... very hard hitting and leaves many people in tears.

    Very informative lens My province has just implemented Canada's toughest laws on impaired drivers. It'll be interesting to see how this works out.

    The only way you will stamp out drinking and driving would be to ban all cars from the roads after a certain time ( apart from taxis ) and we all know that will not happen. I have got into a Taxi before now and know for a fact that the driver has had a drink.
