CAUSES FOR DOGS PEEING IN CRATE

Dogs pee in their crate for one of several reasons:

1) They have an inconsistent feeding schedule
2) The owner doesn't know when they need to go potty
3) They're anxious about something
4) You've left him in the crate too long

Peeing in Crate - Inconsistent Feeding Schedule

Give Your Puppy a Schedule and Stick To It

All puppies need structure. In fact, they feel safest when given structure. In order to prevent your dog from going potty randomly, you need to feed him on a consistent schedule. In addition to feeding your puppy on a consistent schedule, you need to understand when your puppy is most likely to have to go potty.

Puppies need to go potty after:

1) Waking from a nap
2) Playing vigorously
3) After eating
4) Before bed time
5) Once or twice during the night depending on how old he is.

Important!

BE CONSISTENT!

Whatever schedule you decide to put your puppy on, it's important to be consistent if you want good results.
