Confused about How to Stop Underarm Sweating? Start with knowing the basics

How to stop underarm sweating is a question many of us have found ourselves pondering at some point in life. It's so embarrassing to raise your arms only to discover big wet rings from excessive underarm sweat not to mention what this does to your clothes. So, we often find ourselves heading to the drugstore to find a strong anti-perspirant. But why do we have this problem in the first place?

Sweating is the most important cooling mechanism available in hot environments. Sweating is an essential function that helps the body stay cool. Sweating is the body's way of cooling itself and is a normal response to a hot environment or intense exercise. The most common cause of sweating is overheating due to hot weather, a hot room, or overdressing. Much more important, however, is to realize that the body cannot cool itself adequately without sweating. BOTOX® is FDA-approved for the treatment of severe underarm sweating that is not adequately managed with topical agents.

Because sweating is the body's natural way of regulating temperature, people sweat more when it's hot outside and during periods of strenuous activity. After sweating, you should wash the face and body, drink plenty of water to replace lost body fluids, and slightly lower room temperature to prevent more sweating. Call your health care provider if you sweat excessively or if sweating lasts for a long time or can't be explained. Overall lack of sweating can be life threatening because the body will overheat so your goal should be to stop sweating completely but to control the amount of sweating.

So I used to get excessive sweating in the face, hands and armpits BAD. Aside from surgery and botox, I think I tried probably 80% of whats out there.. At least in terms of excessive sweating remedies, electricity, sweat blocking antiperspirants, herbs, and weird diets. I gotta say, its tough trying to find something that works out there.

Hey Dude, ok - I'll share something here.

In my experience, one great, easy and natural way to stop armpit sweat is this...

Instead of using your hands to scrub yourself in the shower, wash with a loofah sponge! You know the ones that are kind of rough?

There's a long explanation for why this works so I won't get into it all here, but it's to do with the proper cleaning and exfoliation of your skin, and your sweat glands reacting to that by producing less sweat.

Anyway, anyone looking for a quick solution, try that for a week and notice the differences.

    Hope that helps,
    James
