A PERSONAL how to survive disaster & tough times guide, how to live cheaply & save money (groceries to energy).

What we all need to know before a personal, global or natural disaster hits - and how to stay positive!

Everyone has their own disaster story. It's the tragedy of the world.

I survived a personal disaster and lost everything.

Certainly in my case it was bankruptcy but, to lose everything including my home, car, savings, second marriage, possessions, the lot, ending up homeless, jobless, penniless and friendless, was a disaster.

Mercifully, while my experience may have been different from a natural disaster, global economic consequences or a tragic life-changing event, every form of disaster, from a hurricane or bushfire to defaulting on your morgage or struggling to pay the food bills, is a disaster that affects us in profound ways.

Everyone on this planet at this time needs to know how to be prepared for and survive disaster, no matter what kind.

I want to find some responsible answers to surviving disaster, dealing with it, or avoiding it. Whatever form our disaster takes.

What I've learned about surviving a personal disaster you won't find on other survival websites.

1. You never know when a disaster will strike you. In my case, I started losing clients after 10 years running a one-man freelance business which led to bankruptcy. Since my business was me, both of us crashed and burned. I thought it was only other people who went bankrupt.

2. Be prepared to face disaster alone and be literally dazed and disoriented. But then, you'll be amazed how people will come to your aid. As for me, a stranger offered me her old caravan parked outside her home in a small country town as my home.

3. You'll need to apply the brakes to your way of living which will be hard. Possibly cut out all luxury purchases, and I mean at the supermarket. At first I would travel around the supermarket TWICE, once for what I thought I needed and again to put back what I could do without.

4. You'll wonder how you'll ever survive the ordeal - how you'll ever climb out of your new circumstances. You will.

5. Try to stay positive. Often a disaster is simply a transformation, from one way of life to another and, in my case, from being someone I really wasn't to a new and better me. It could also be the case for you (should you face such a disaster - perhaps a personal awakening).

6. Moving forward to a new start (and the unknown) is often a better option than returning to the past (and the familiar).

7. Miracles happen. Be ready for them.

What's all this talk about what will happen on December 21, 2012?

Every major religion, minor religions you've never heard of, non-religious spiritualists, even athiests and agnostics agree in 2012 something will happen. There are millions of people around the world sensing this big event is coming. But what will happen?

It was predicted by our ancient ancestors the Maya, Scientists, Religious Leaders, NASA and other Governments around the world that 2012 will be a very significant year for "You" and all of humanity.

Getting this information is very important.

If you think this is just a bunch of hype then that's perfectly fine. But it's better to educate yourself about this and find out the real meaning of 2012 before you rule this out as conspiracy theory or a made up date for the entertainment industry.

Do you want the truth?

The world around us is in turmoil right now. People are starving, the economy is slowly declining, debt is spiralling out of control, personal bankruptcies are increasing dramatically, even some Governments are close to bankruptcy, fortunes are being lost through Internet fraud and sharemarket crashes, there are threats of war, there is unrest everywhere, diseases cause poverty and death and climate change is causing unpredictable disruptions to our way of life.

Be in the know about 2012 and prepare yourself for every possible situation that could occur. If nothing happens, Great! But what if it does and this was your warning to prepare?

Now I'm not saying this date is all doom and gloom. The author of this excellent 2012 guide reveals that there is light at the end of the tunnel that doesn't end in a catastrophe. But it's up to us to become a part of that story line.

In any survival scenario we have to include 2012.

Get this very helpful free 30-page e-book: "How to Survive the Coming Food Shortage"

What would happen if a natural, civil or economic disaster prevented us from growing, transporting and importing food? Food prices would rise and supermarket shelves would go empty.

Within three days there'd be no food left in most people's homes. Chaos and anarchy would break out. Thousands (if not millions) would starve.

Are you prepared for such a situation? Do you realize how close our technology-driven agricultural industry is to experiencing such a crisis?

In fact, it is because our food system is so sophisticated, integrated and advanced that it is so vulnerable.

The thought that the globe's leading nations (like the United States and Canada) could suffer even a temporary food shortage (no less a prolonged food crisis) seems unthinkable to most people.

How to create an urban survival plan for staying right where you are!

Discover how you can easily have a practical survival plan staying right where you currently live. That's better than having a fully stocked rural retreat that you can't reach! Here's a complete urban survival system so that if the world doesn't go to hell, you won't look back on your life and feel that you wasted your time and money worrying needlessly.

First, realize that worrying is stupid, useless, and a waste of energy, especially in a survival situation.

Second, The strategies and techniques that you learn will enrich your relationships and be useful every day, regardless of what happens with the rest of the world.

Keep in mind that this isn't your ordinary "survival" book. Quite frankly, we don't need any more of those. You don't need another book where the author "wows" you with their skills and preparations.

What you need is for someone to show you how to quickly get started and then keep in touch with you week after week so you don't get stalled along the way like you do with a regular book.

And that's exactly what the author offers you as a bonus as you're going through the SurviveInPlace Urban Survival Course. To read more Click Here!

DB (Louisiana) - 5 stars, Very Impressed, June 10, 2010, "There are lots of emergency kits out there. I researched all of them on Amazon and other web sites and decided on this one mainly because of value and the backpack. I also bought two Emergency Zone Deluxe Emergency Kits too because we have a large family They are great too, but this one comes with more items. The backpack is great because it has several clear pockets. Very organized. We were happy with the quality and it shipped fast. I hope I never have to use it, but if a disaster comes or if we have to go to a shelter, this will be a great kit to have."

Permaculture: solution to a sustainable world

I was officially the first member of the Permaculture Association when it was founded some 30 years ago by its Tasmanian creators Bill Mollison and David Holmgren. I can say 'officially' because my name was published at the top of a list of members in an early edition of their newsletter. I attended an early weekend seminar conducted by Bill Mollison near Melbourne and have been a fan ever since. I highly recommend you look into Permaculture yourself. Here are some selected books (including the original guides by both Mollison and Holmgren).

I am looking forward to December 21, 2012. My anticipation is based not out of fear but one of faith. I remember the weeks leading up to the new millenium in 1999 when computers was suppose to go "haywire" and have all kinds of dire effect globally. The year 2000 came in as smooth as a babys behind!
Very useful information and practical guide for surviving a disaster. I like the "Emergency Zone Survival Kit For 4 Person.
