How To Train Your Dragon

Have you seen How To Train Your Dragon yet? No? Than you are missing out! It is a great movie for the whole family. We took all four of our children and their grandparents to see it in the movie theaters. Everyone loved it!

It is such a cute movie! My 7 year old loved it so much that we decided to decorate his bedroom with a dragon theme. He already has the comforter and some pillows.

My kids also have a small collection of toys from the movie. We went out and bought it as soon as it came out on dvd!

A Little About The Movie:

The movie is about a Viking teenage boy, Hiccup, who wants to be a dragon slayer like everyone else. He is finally able to capture one of the dragons, but finds he is unable to kill it, instead Hiccup decides to befriend the dragon naming him Toothless. Unfortunately he injured the dragons tail when he shot it down which makes it impossible for the dragon to fly. Hiccup tries out numerous inventions to help Toothless to be able to fly again. Finally he comes up with one that allows the dragon to fly with a little help from Hiccup.

It's now up to Hiccup to convince the rest of the tribe that dragons aren't the enemy and with a little training the dragons can actually help the Vikings.

Customer Review:

I went with a total of 3 moms and 9 kids to see this movie in the theater last month. Every single one of the 12 of us loved this film, it's cute, heartwarming and a whole lot of fun. From the story of a father trying to know his son (and his son trying to know him) to the boy and beast learning mutual trust, it's full of feel good moments for the adults. From the silly antics to the cheesy jokes, it was fully of entertainment for the adults.
This is well worth a watch and a great movie to watch
