Will you remain a statistic?

2.6% of the world population suffer from panic attacks. (WHO,2001) 6 million reside in the USA. and 3 million in Canada. 1 in 5 Canadians are absent for work due to a mental health related problem and in Canada it is the number 1 cause of workplace disability. 22% of Canadians are diagnosed with Anxiety Disorders.

The above are just reported statistics. What about the many more who do not visit their family doctor about this problem or quietly leave work on another diagnosis like burnout or other physical conditions which if investigated further could show Anxiety as co-morbid condition.

So the question is - Do you want to remain a statistic? You don't have to as there are natural ways to treating panic attack and anxiety. It is not necessary for you to be under that label and be on anti-anxiety for the rest of your lives.

STOP Panic Attack Completely!

Western Medicine, has not found a cause or a cure for Panic Attack. The medications given for panic attack are SSRI (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors) and Benzotrophines all of which have side-effects. Remember these medications are not a cure, they only relieve the symptoms temporarily. The other treatment commonly use in combination with the medication is psychotherapy. Just a some notes here, panic disorder is when someone have more than two panic attacks in a lifetime. (Mayo clinic) It affects more women than men.

In alternative medicine, CBT, hypnosis, nutritional have been used with a greater rate of success. In the past decade, energy psychology has been used with the panic disorder or panic attack gone after several sessions with the practitioner. Energy Psychology uses Meridian tapping, as well as other methods to release Panic. There are also some programs developed by panic attack survivors in the last 5 years or so. and these programs require some effort, motivation and practice with some good testimonials from people who have tried them. These programs are natural and affordable.

I've used Meridian Tapping in combination with Eden Energy Medicine with my private clients. It is natural and works with a little effort on the part of my clients. The average duration of the sessions are five and each session last anywhere from 30minutes to 45 minutes. Each session also includes some ways to prevent further episodes. The first private client I saw over 2 years ago, has been free from any further panic attacks and has repeatedly that me for her liberation for panic disorder. These sessions are affordable and may be done in the comfort of your home.

I do offer a free 15 minutes introductory session over Skype. Yes these sessions may be done over the phone or via Skype. So just e-mail me on what you prefer through my e-mail and mark. on the subject line - 15min. free session.

Good job on the lens! I think Panic Disorder is worse because it can be chronic and interfere with everyday life but both would be very difficult to experience on a regular basis.

I've never had panic attacks but this would be helpful when working with others who suffer from them.

Thanks Glenn and JB6, yes, so many people are unaware because the people suffering from panic disorder are afraid to let anyone know, of being judged or ridiculed or labelled. If you suspect someone might be suffering from this, direct them to my site./a>
