How To Set Up A Hookah

After receiving your hookah from your preferred retailer and getting over the excitement of seeing it and having it in your hands for the first time all you have to do is check that you received all the necessary components to start putting your hookah together:
clay bowl, bowl grommet, tray, shaft, hose grommet, base grommet, hose and the glass base.

After completing the checklist of components and making sure that you have all the parts, start putting them together and you will very well be on your way to smoking your first bowl of deliciously flavored tobacco.

This is my step by step way of setting up the hookah. First take the glass base and fill it with water up to a point where the water covers about a ½ of an inch of the shaft.

Then place the base grommet in the neck of the base and then put the shaft in it, now put the tray on top of the shaft and then put the bowl grommet, last but not least place the hose grommet in the receptacle for the hose and now put the hose in its place.

Place the flavored tobacco mix in your ceramic bowl, put the bowl on the grommet that you just placed on top of the shaft and voila! You are ready to go.

At this point all you have to do is cover the bowl containing the flavored tobacco with a piece of aluminum foil making sure that the shiny part faces down and then open holes on the foil with a toothpick making some concentric circular shapes so that the charcoal can heat the tobacco and the air can flow properly to produce enough smoke.

Light up a couple of pieces of charcoal and put it o n top of the bowl and puff away!
