How Much Do you Want an Organized Desk and an Organized Life?
I've been in search of the holy grail of personal productivity for years. The more you read the more you spend on organizers and coaches nothing seems to work. I know you've been there and I know you've felt like nothing works for you. I know because I'm you,
I've been around the block and tried every new productivity fad. You know what? You're right there is no one poduct that can help us.
Try as I might no one product could get me to the productivity finishing line. The world is a complicated place and I long for the simplicity of a single authority on what the best use of my time is. I long for one tool that holds everything I need to do my job and succeed in life in it. I want to be on the way out of my front door each morning feeling grateful for my beautiful family and looking forward to a stress free day at work I want my biggest concern to be avoiding any presents Pooh my puppy may have left on the walk. I don't want to be going through my life on auto pilot constantly looking out for the crisis to blow up around me.
If you could would you want to take control of your life, today?
Do you want to spend your time on what is important to you?
Do you want to own the last Personal Productivity system you'll ever need?
Can you find 2-4 hours to implement a free system that will mean eliminating stress in your personal and professional life?
Then keep reading and I'll show you how to take control of your life with a free system designed to change the way you live forever by harnessing the knowledge of the man who changed the way the world Gets Things Done and a free Personal Note Taking System to become your personal productivity rocket fuel.
Evernote's brilliance is it's simplicity, it's a notetaking program that reduces the barriers to keeping clear and concise notes and exhaustive references with you wherever you happen to be.
Much has been made of Evernote's Freemium model. While their pioneering Freemium might explain their turnover, the real reason for the success of the guys over at Evernote has to be the sheer geeky minimilism of the Evernote offering.
I've used the excellent companion ebook to Evernote, Evernote essentials by Brett Kelly and found my productivity going through the roof. Once you get past the nuts and bolts it's quite simply a breeze to use.

Evernote GTD
"'I need milk' and 'I need to decide whether to buy this company' both tie up space in psychic RAM. The solution is simple. Write it down. Look at it. Do it or say to yourself 'not now'." David Allen author of Getting Things DoneIn order to take control of my life I make use of Evernote (see my Evernote Review) and Getting Things Done principles from David Allen's seminal productivity book.
Evernote is Completely free to use!!
Using Evernote GTD to set goals is a 4 prong process for me. Collect, Capture, Organize and Review. Evernote's knockout punch when it comes to Goal and objective setting is Evernote's ease of capture. Keeping track of our goals in your personal and professional life is not going to be easy. You are going to need to keep track of everything that's happening in our life and affecting your goals and you'll need it in one place dammit. That one place for your goals this year is going to be Evernote.
Evernote is Completely free to use!!

Just the other day...
So not 2 weeks ago I sat down to write this an article for Walyou.com with my broken hand and all. (I broke a bone in my hand punching a fellow Wing Tsun student during sparring about 5 weeks ago) I looked around at my desk and got really annoyed that Cheryl, my girlfriend left a coffee stain on the desk in my home office. So as is the guy way I attempted to dry clean the stain using a napkin. It took exactly two wipes for me to realize that a) wiping was not going to help and b) wiping made my broken hand feel like it was being stabbed with a blunt shard of glass. So I promptly jumped up in pain and did what may have been mistaken for a rain dance if the nosey neighbors were watching through the window. I even provided precipitation when I knocked my own cup of coffee over. So why did that make me want to write an Evernote Review? When the effects of the phantom shard of glass had vanished I put my grumpy face on expecting to have to begin the salvage job on my desk.Except I'd just completed a purge of my paper based clutter the week before so the only casualty to the Great Coffee Flood of 2010 was my newspaper and my ham sandwich. Had it happened the day before the paper purge, needless to say the expletive police would have thrown away the key on me and I'd probably have lost hours of research. That's when I decided I'd do this review and try and save you lot some pain as well.
