How to Use Remote Desktop on Your Android Device

If you want to set up a remote desktop, you need the right applications to do so. There are two types of applications, which enable you to set up an Android remote desktop.

Some applications allow you to directly connect to the standard remote desktop already included in most operating systems. You don't need to run another server application on your computer, but they are harder to set up, especially if you never worked with remote desktop before.

One of the good things about TeamViewer is, you don't actually have to install the application on your computer. After you download it, just run the file and it gives you the option to either run or install the application.

If you want easier access like through the Start menu, you'll have to install the application. If you just want to use it without having to install one more application on your already full hard drive, you just run it.
