How To Pucker Whistle

Check out these written instructions on Basic pucker whistling.

The position of tongue that people recommend varies. Some say place tip on lower front teeth or gums, Others say the top of the tongue hovers just below the roof of the mouth and doesn't actually touch anything. I can get a sound with the tongue in several different positions, so try a few variations to see what works for you.

I used to do this when I was a kid, but haven't done it for about ohhhh, lets say 20 years. It took me awhile to figure out how to do it again. The secret was to blow softly instead of blowing hard like a wolf whistle.

i used to work for ronnie ronalde many years ago and his whistling was untouchable. my ears would hurt when i used to approach his door to his room when he was in full flow it was that powerful. needless to say i learnt from him without him even knowing and i can whistle a mean tune. He was a very lovely and likeable man.... mike
