How to Improve Your Credit Score

Go with me for a little trip in your mind.  You've pulled into a car lot 'cause you just couldn't drive past that sweet red Mustang convertible again, not with it calling out to you "Come on, take me for a test drive!" So you finally give in. And the whole time you're behind the wheel, all you can think of is how sharp you must look with the top down and those slick leather seats exposed for all to see.

So you decide to take it a step further and 'just see what they'll offer' for the heap you're currently driving. Before you know it, the salesman is handing you a pen to fill out an application. You think, 'why not, maybe this time...'  The salesman takes the application and looks it over. You're watching his face for any indication of what he may be thinking. But this guy's a pro, his expression reveals nothing.

He looks up at you with that cheesy smile you know is fake and you can feel your heart sinking in your chest as he stands up and tells you he'll be right back. You know he's going to talk to his manager, so you sit there and try to stay calm and look cool and nonchalant. But you know when he comes back he's going to tell you in the most diplomatic way possible that you just don't qualify for a car loan at this time.

How do you know? Because this isn't the first time you've tried this, and you know your credit rating is in the toilet.  And all because you were out of work for a few months…OVER 5 YEARS AGO!

Buddy, it's time to learn how to improve your credit score.

So let's get started...

The Inside Scoop on Improving Your Credit Score

Okay, that wasn't you, it was me. This actually happened to me a couple of years ago. Since then, not only did I buy a red Mustang convertible, but we're closing on my first house in 3 weeks! It wasn't an easy process to get from then to now. I decided, after I snuck out of the dealership, to do something about repairing my credit. It's not fair to still be penalized for YEARS because of a temporary rough time in my life.

At first I thought I would just do it myself, so I ordered a copy of my credit report. It may as well have been written in cave drawings, it was so hard to understand.

So next I thought I'd try one of those 'We'll fix your credit' companies. When I finally found one that didn't require me to pay them some outrageous fee to 'fix' my credit, I was disappointed to learn that their ability to repair my credit was extremely limited.

I've pretty much heard the same thing from most people I talked to about it. But what they didn't know, what I didn't know, and what you don't know now is that there ARE companies that can actually legally and safely help you raise your credit score. And the whole thing is totally legit.

But where do you find them?

Let's talk about that next...

Increase Your Credit Score the LEGAL Way

I guess I owe an apology to my wife; she's the one who wanted me to check out this site (click on the link) in the first place. I wish I had, but I'm glad she persisted when I was ready to just say screw it. They did so much more than just repair my credit. They gave me peace of mind because I knew it was being handled by true legal professionals.

I'm not saying your credit is as bad as mine was. I'm just saying if you need your credit repaired, do it the right way, save yourself a lot of headaches and visit these guys. Repairing your credit is legal and extremely effective IF it's done the right way. If you choose to go somewhere else, you won't receive the expert legal advice that's essential for truly repairing bad credit.

The choice, of course, is up to you, but consider it carefully. Your credit rating is important and fair or not, it will follow you for years. Do you want the future of your buying ability determined by some flake that applied for a job, was given a week's orientation and assigned to a desk or by a professional attorney, educated and specializing in credit repair? Your choice should be obvious. So go see this site right now and stop worrying. Let the professionals do their job.

Finally, a Quick Note About Your Credit Report

Even if you decide not to go with the options I talk about above, you're going to need to know exactly where you stand if you're going to have any chance at all at raising your credit score -- and the whole process starts with getting a copy of your credit report.

There are a lot of places out there that will offer one to you, but by far the best one I've found is right here (click on the link).

Why? Simple. Because it's completely FREE and you don't have to navigate through all of the nonsense and embarrassing questions you get at other places.

I don't know why you'd go anywhere else, quite frankly. But maybe that's just me.

Anyway, don't take my word for it -- check it out here and decide for yourself.

Hope that helps.
