Tips To Becoming A Successful Freelance Writer

1. You have to write. I know this seems kind of obvious, but you have to be writing in order to gain success as a freelance writer. If you don't have many paying clients yet start a blog to showcase your writing. Submit articles to sites such as http://www.ezinearticles.com so people can get a sense of your writing style.

2. You have to network. No one can hire you as a writer if they don't know you exist. Spend some time on twitter, facebook. and linkedin talking to people that will be likely to buy your content. Coaches, consultants, internet marketers and speakers are great to get started with as they are always looking for fresh content for their websites.

3. Finally...Don't give up! I know things can be quite difficult when you are brand new. Don't get discouraged when things don't go according to plan. Just dust yourself off, adjust your plan and keep on trucking! You can do this!

With a lot of hard work and dedication, you could have this in your pocket...
