How To Make Your Own Beats for Free

Step 1:
The Software
The first thing you need is the software you are going to use to make your beats. I started producing with FL Studio, which cost me $100.00. Now you can get virtually the same program as the Fruity Loops software only free! It's called LMMS or Linux MultiMedia Studio and you can find it here.
Step 2:
The Sample Sounds
Good free sounds are hard to find online, especially for a hip hop producer. But FreeProducerKits.com has over 10,000 hip hop sample sounds all for free! You will spend days on this site downloading all the sample kits. Step 3:
The Tutorials
Now that you have your free software and your free sample library, it's time to learn how to use them to make your beats. I recommend visiting youtube and searching for the term "LMMS Tutorial" there are plenty of videos to help you get started. I will place a few videos at the bottom of this page to point you in the right direction.
Time To Make Beats
Ok so now you have your weapons and the proper training so it's time to put in work on your beats. Remember it takes time to become good so work at your craft daily and don't stop until you are making hits.
