Instead of writing a review of the entire book, I've posted a few of my favorite takeaways. But, I can't share all her secrets, so you'll have to buy the book to read more!
  1. Character Essentials 1 - three excellent tips for creating a dimensional character that has the human qualities we look for in a book. Many books I've read by amateur authors have a problem with characterization, and rewriting the characters with these three things in mind could improve most of the books by a thousand percent.
  2. Showing vs Telling - this is one area that I struggle with, because I can never quite tell if I've showed enough, vs what I've told. Janet gives some great examples, and you can pull more from her well written novels.
  3. Cliffhangers - Janet poses some great tips for placing cliffhangers and using them to create an emotional response for your readers.

    I loved the book! Evanovich has sold millions and millions of books, particularly in her Stephanie Plum series, so she must be doing SOMETHING right!

    Janet Evanovich has been my inspiration to improve my own creative novel writing and I am proud to say that I'm working so hard in order to finish my novel about Viagra Online buyers and it is not because it's my novel, but I think it is very interesting to see the world from the blue-pill buyers
