Tip 2 - Type of rib - there are basically 2 types of cuts for ribs. There is the baby back ribs and the St. Louise cut. The St. Louise cut is bigger but the baby back cuts are more tender.
Tip 3 - As I already mentioned, one of the first things you need to know when learning how to BBQ ribs is how to cook them slowly.
Tip 4 - Add the BBQ sauce when the ribs are done cooking. Doing this last ensures that the sauce does not dry and burn because of the long cooking time.

Try This BBQ Ribs Recipe This Weekend!
Here is a great tasting BBQ ribs recipe that is so simple to do:
6 pounds pork spareribs
1 tblsp red pepper flakes
2 tblsp Adobo or Seasoned Salt
1 tsp fresh ground black pepper ( use less to taste if using adobo)
A barbecue sauce you like
Combine red pepper flakes, Adobo and black pepper. Rub mixture all over ribs; cover ribs and marinate in refrigerator at least 2 hours. Grill ribs over low heat, bone side down until the meat separates from the bone, approximately 1 hour. Apply your favorite barbecue sauce and cook for another 15 to 30 minutes turning the ribs frequently to avoid burning the sauce. Serves 6 to 8.
