    Your comparisons on salaries is staggering. Plenty of folks are still arguing a college education will land you a better paying job. I just don't buy it. Maybe if you are planning to be a Doctor, Lawyer or some other field that requires college. However, these trade jobs such as offshore rig workers, electricians or plumbers typically require less schooling which mean little to no school loan debt because some trades allow you to earn while you learn.

    In my opinion more emphasis needs to be placed on these types of careers. They are career jobs to be proud of.
