Stop in and Say Hello :)

From the lens How To Be Content With What You Have.

It's certainly a lot easier on your psyche to be content with what you have rather than pining after what you don't

I think it's easy to be content if there are no problems in your life, like a lack of money. Too much doesn't make you happier, but if it helps to take away some of the stress from your life it can make a difference.

For example I have a full time job, and also write and create lenses on Squidoo, hoping to earn enough to spend 2 weeks in Florida so I can see my daughters once a year. I have to spend many hours online, spend as little as I can all year round, and my wife and I don't get to take vacations together anywhere else, which puts a strain on our lives. More money would definitely make our lives less stressful. A lens nicely done, blessed.

Great lens. Being content with what you have is essential to being happy which also goes hand in hand with being happy with who you are. When we can be happy with what we have and who we are we can then experience true peace.

It's great to be thankful for what we have. When I feel down, I like to write a little list of all the things I'm glad for in life and I soon start to cheer up. Great lens.

What a meaningful lens. I loved my visit here. I have both seen and read The Secret many times over the years, but had completely forgotten about the gratitude rock. Thanks for all the uplifting thoughts here, now I'm off to find my rock!

I like this! Material things have never brought me contentment. It's adventure and experience that I thrive on, second only to my connections with special people in my life, first and foremost my husband. No single thing would mean anything without that.

God is good all the time. We praise him with joy and thanksgiving always. May we say again he is our happiness and contentment. Rejoice and again say rejoice. Peace on earth and good will to all men.
