This is your guestbook module

This is one I would suggest everyone have on their lens

From the lens How to build a squidoo lens of your own and make money with it!.

It is important to give people a place to contact you, and share thoughts and ideas.

Which if you have any questions, or ideas I would love to hear them here.

I always select that anyone that visits can comment, but you can make it private to only Squidoo members if you want to.

You can also select whether you want them approved right away, or if you want to see them first. My preference is to see them first and approve them. But again, this is your choice!

Stumble It!

Linda... You have got it going on! I have only done 1 lens and have some great mentors, but this Great Lens is a supurb guideline that I am lensrolling to my Learning lens! Got here by way of your Leopard lens which I saw you updating on twitter... more on that on the comments of that lens! Stars everywhere, but they only count 5 plus fanned and favored!

To put a link in that is a clickable link you just type the following:

    (a href=your website url here)the name of the site(/a)

    Just replace the ( ) with brackets < >

I hope that answers your question right :-)
  • TalesTrailsAndTips2 Feb 14, 2009 @ 11:18 am | delete
How do you add the follow link? Is it from Squidoo or someplace else?

    Mary,

So lets say you wanted to add a link to your Bicycle built for two lens to another lens.

    You would type in:

    (a href=http://www.squidoo.com/BICICLE)Bicycle Made For Two(/a)

Then just replace the ( ) you see above with < >

Let me know if I can help with anything else, I honestly love to help people learn, I am still learning new things all the time and am forever grateful to those that have helped me!
  • ArtByLinda Oct 21, 2008 @ 3:56 pm | delete
    Hi Mary,
The domain Link is the url, which is what you have in the top window whenever you look at a webpage. It starts with http://...

The Domain name is what you titled your page...
    like, Mary Wilson's Lensography.

    Does that help?
  • MaryWilson Oct 21, 2008 @ 2:55 pm | delete
(Note: on the write module's like this one, you can add a link to your website if you have one, like this Art By Linda ...use the following code...

    (a href="your domain link here")Name of your link here(/a)

    again replace the () with <> )
Can I ask a question please:
Above it says (your domain link) then name of your link - can you explain further please Im all mixed up. marywilson 3 lenses but they are not right yet.

Hi Linda, you have given so much interesting information here. I am beginning to get my head round html, and have often wondered how to present art in a lens, i.e. lots of large images or more compact smaller ones. My lens 'Wine in Art' is my first to do with the subject.
  • The_Party_Animal Sep 3, 2008 @ 3:54 pm | delete
WoW - my new squidoo home away from my life. This is so full of info it will be my reference from now on. I added you to my: http://www.squidoo.com/Squidoo-be-dobee-do, favorited you and lensrolled you over. You get 5 BIG stars full of thanks from me.
  • Mickie_G Aug 30, 2008 @ 10:45 am | delete
Nice information here! I love learning new html codes. Will try some of yours on my lenses. I especially want to use the colored background on my Amazon lens comments. They seem to get lost and I want people to know what I think of the products/books.

    richgerman,
Thank you I appreciate you stopping by!

RedSportNiac, thanks again, and I will! :-)

Spook, if I can help let me know...it looks complicated, but if you just copy and paste some of the codes I have here into your text area, then change the parenthysis to brackets, save it and whalla, you will see your text change. Honest :-) Good luck!
  • Spook Jul 14, 2008 @ 4:20 pm | delete
Somehow I still can't figure out how to use html, guess it's got to do with being Irish
