How to Celebrate Tooth Fairy Day

Ranked #3,017 in Holidays & Celebrations, #48,260 overall

National Tooth Fairy Day

National Tooth Fairy Day takes place on February 28 and/or August 22. I like celebrating on both as it's a way to give back to the wonderful fairy who delivers surprises to kids when they lose their teeth.

Let's take a look at some activities kids can participate in to have fun on this special holiday.

Tooth Fairy Letter

The Tooth Fairy is always giving to children. Why not surprise the Tooth Fairy with a nice letter or draw a pretty picture?

Let the Tooth Fairy know how much you appreciate the visits when you lose a tooth. Fairies enjoy compliments for their work.

National Tooth Fairy Day

As you know, the Tooth Fairy is very giving. Why not be like the Tooth Fairy for a day? Don't worry! You don't have to find any teeth!

Think of something nice you can do for someone else. Maybe help out a family member around the house or ask your teacher if there's anything you can help out with in the classroom.

You could bring a flower to someone you know or even make up your own Tooth Fairy song and perform it for someone special. The Tooth Fairy would feel very honored if you did something nice for someone else.

Fairy Party Idea

Another way to celebrate Tooth Fairy Day is to gather a few friends together for a party.

You can have some snacks, play some games and make some crafts. Be sure to get an adult's permission before you start to plan anything.

Here are some ideas to get you started.

One thing that will make the Tooth Fairy very happy is if you do an extra good job at brushing your teeth.

Even if they're baby teeth, it's still important to have good dental care. Haven't yet brushed your teeth today? Now might be a good time to do so.

It is funny how important role has Tooth Fairy at 5 and 6 years old kids. If they meet a dentist with the right attitude, their teeth are save for many many years... At the moment is Tooth Fairy (she is often substituted with Tooth mouse in Slovenia) very popular in our place:)

What a fun day! My 5-year old can't wait to lose a tooth so the tooth fairy will come! :)
  • HSSchulte Feb 22, 2012 @ 7:34 pm | delete
I didn't know there was a tooth fairy day, but I'm glad there is. She is one busy lady.

I love 'Tooth Fairy Day', what a fab idea :)
Thank you for this lens, its lovley. As a child I always put my tooth under my pillow for the tooth fairy to get for her necklaces and she would leave me 50p for it. We had a good little business going until I had all my adult teeth, and I have not seen her for a while lol
    Fantastic lens :)

This makes me feel younger, like a kid again. Also reminds me of my four kids as they're going through these years themselves, well done. ... *blessed*

This lens is too cute. I'll have to remember to remind my son that the tooth fairy will be extra happy if he brushes his teeth.
  • JoshK47 Feb 5, 2012 @ 10:20 pm | delete
Great lens - not sure who my favorite fairy is, though. Although, for my love of Disney's sake, Tinkerbell may, indeed, win. Blessed by a SquidAngel!
  • marciag Feb 5, 2012 @ 12:08 pm | delete
    Hehe the toothfairy, nice one.
  • flicker Feb 5, 2012 @ 9:00 am | delete
Very nice lens! Being a light sleeper, I'm surprised I never woke up when the Tooth Fairy came visiting. So I never got to meet her. :) Enjoyed the sweet illustration and the Faerie Music video.
